현재 한국, 프랑스, 홍콩에서 왕성하게 활동하고 있는 무용단 및 아티스트들의 다양한 작품을 소개하며 각 국의 컨템포러리 댄스 트랜드를 느낄 수 있는 무대이다.

수무브SUMOVE / KOREA

단체소개
수무브는 몸을 기반으로 하는 다양한 작업들을 시도하는 중이다. 여러 방식으로 몸에서 발현되는 움직임을 구조-상징-은유의 연결 선상에서 이해하고 이를 통해 몸에 대한 이해와 자신의 감정이나 내면을 표출시키는 온전한 나로서의 주체적인 몸을 발견하는 것에 초점을 둔 작업을 이어 가고 있다.
수무브의 대표 박수열은 한국예술종합학교 무용원 실기과를 졸업하고, 대구가톨릭대학 통합예술치료학 박사를 마쳤다. 현재 대구가톨릭대학교 통합예술치료학과 대학원과 무용학과에서 이론과 실기를 가르치며 무용교육가이자 안무가로 활동하고 있다.
모던테이블 댄스 컴퍼니 창단 단원으로 국내외 활동을 하였으며, 다양한 예술가들과 소통과 협업을 통하여 새로운 형태의 예술을 창조해 내는 실험적인 프로젝트를 작업해 왔다.
작품소개
인간의 행동은 신체적인 움직임만이 아니라 감정이나 성격 그리고 의지까지도 포함하는 광범위한 개념이다. 행동을 결정하는데 있어 선천적으로 타고난 생물학적인 바탕이 중요한지, 아니면 일단 태어난 후 주위 환경에서 받는 영향이라든가 학습으로 배워 얻은 후천적인 요소가 더 중요한지 하는 논란은 예전부터 늘 대두되어왔다.
이 작품은 인간의 움직임 구성요소를 신체, 마음, 정서(body-mind-emotion)로 구분하여 탐색하고자 한다. 이러한 과정을 ‘3 levels of awareness’(세 가지 수준의 자각)이라고 한다.
‘3 levels of awareness’는 움직임을 통해 신체 감각과 감정, 이미지를 통합하는 작업 이다. 이 작업은 퍼포머의 과거 경험에 의해 조건화된 신체 탐색을 바탕으로 신체, 마음, 정서(body-mind-emotion)를 한 가지씩 개별적으로 다루는 방법, 두 가지 수준을 연결하여 다루는 방법, 세 가지 수준을 상호 순환적으로 다루는 방법을 반복적으로 연습하도록 하는 것을 작업의 기초로 두었다.

Introdution
Park Su-yeol graduated from of the Korea National University of Arts and received a doctorate in integrated arts therapy from the Catholic University of Daegu. As a founding member of the modern table dance Company, he is engaged in various activities at home and abroad, While working as an individual writer for the first and second periods of the daeguart factory Ten-Topic project, he has been working on experimental projects that create new forms of art through communication and collaboration with various artists in the field of visual and performing arts. Currently, he is a choreographer and dance educator, and is attempting various body-based tasks.

Human behavior is a broad concept that includes not only physical movements but also emotions, personality, and will. Controversy over whether the innate biological basis is important in determining behavior, or whether the influence of the surrounding environment once born or the acquired factors learned through learning are more important has always been on the rise.
This work seeks to explore the components of human movement by dividing them into body, mind, and emotion. This process is called 3 levels of awareness.
‘3 levels of awareness’ is a work that integrates bodily sensations, emotions and images through the performer’s movements. Based on the body search conditioned by the performer's past experience, this work is a repetitive method of dealing with body-mind-emotion one by one, connecting two levels, and dealing with three levels in a mutually cyclical way. It was based on the work to practice with.

홍콩 태생의 컨템포러리 무용가 케이티 유는 현재 홍콩을 기반으로 활동하고 있는 무용단 < 언락 댄싱 플라자 > 상주 안무가이다. 케이티는 여러 유명한 단체 및 아티스트와 함께 공연했으며 그녀의 작품으로 유럽 및 아시아 투어를 진행했다. 2018년에 그녀는 Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 에서 Young Artist 상을, Hong Kong Dance Awards에서 Emerging Choreographer Award 를 수상했다. 그녀의 작품 Unmixed(2018, 레저 및 문화 서비스 부서에서 발표한 New Force in Motion 시리즈)와 Confine(2019, Tai Kwun)으로 Hong Kong Dance Awards 에서 Outstanding Small Venue Production Award 를 수상했으며 또한 뛰어난 안무에도 지명되었다.

Introduction
Hong Kong-born dance artist. KT Yau is the current resident choreographer with Unlock Dancing Plaza. Yau has performed with a number of renowned companies and artists and toured her work internationally in Europe and Asia. In 2018, Yau received the Award for Young Artist at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards and the Emerging Choreographer Award at the Hong Kong Dance Awards. She has received an Outstanding Small Venue Production Award at the Hong Kong Dance Awards for her works Unmixed (2018, New Force in Motion series presented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department) and Confine (2019, presented by Tai Kwun), both of which were also nominated for Outstanding Choreography.

Who will you remember once the curtains close? How much of each performer’s “self” can you see up there on the stage? The choreographer is conducting a “reduction” experiment. In a cramped environment, the performers make use of their limited resources to create new meanings.

안무가이자 무용수로서 활동을 이어 나가고 있는 김민은 한국예술종합학교 무용원 창작과 예술사에서 공부를 마치고 TOB GROUP을 창단하게 된다. 젊은 안무가의 신선한 감각을 드러내면서 주목받게 된 그는 2022년 8월 에든버러 페스티벌 프린지(Edinburgh Festival Fringe)에서 작품을 올리며 영국의 대표적인 일간지 더 가디언으로부터 '에든버러 프린지에서 꼭 봐야 할 공연'으로 선정이 된다. 또한 The Scottishfield, The Skinny, SeeingDance 등 영국 현지 유력 신문들로부터 별점 5점 만점 중 최고점 4.5점을 받는 등 우수한 성적을 거두고 귀국한다.
2022년 10월, 김민은 에든버러 프린지에서 선보인 작품 중 하나를 스페인 마스단자(MASDANZA)에 올리게 되며, 그 결과 많은 기획자들의 관심을 받아 국내외 공연 및 활동 기회를 얻게 된다. 2023년 6월에 열리는 독일 하노버 안무 경연(International Choreographic Competition Hannover)에 선정이 되어 본선에 참가한다. TOB GROUP은 기존의 '상자'와 틀에서 벗어나 자유롭고 창의적인 생각을 현대무용 작품에 담고자 한다. *TOB : Think Outside the Box의 앞글자를 따 만든 약자. '주어진 틀(상자)에서 벗어나 자유로운 사고를 할 것을 의미한다.

피해자와 가해자가 명확히 구분되지 않는 세상을 목격한 적이 있다. 무해한 ‘의도’는 누군가의 ‘고의’와 꽤나 닮았다. 눈을 닫고 귀를 감는다. 다시 한번 눈을 뜨고 귀를 연다. 우리는 서로에게 무해한 존재가 될 수 있을까?

Introduction
Min Kim continues to build his rich portfolio as a choreographer and dancer, mainly by founding TOB GROUP after graduating from the Korea National University of Arts School of Dance. With his unshared creativity and bold, youthful energy, Min performed at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and his work was spotlighted as one of “50 shows to see” by The Guardian. His performance in Edinburgh also secured impressive reviews from multiple British newspapers, such as the Scottishfield, The Skinny, and SeeingDance, and scored at highest 4.5 stars out of 5—a traditional scoring metric adopted at the Fringe for all performances and shows. With this momentum, one of Min’s work performed at the Edinburgh Fringe was shortly after selected at the MASDANZA in Spain, where Min was noticed by numerous producers who opened up avenues for numerous performance opportunities both inside and outside Korea. Namely, Min is scheduled to perform as a finalist at the International Choreographic Competition Hannover in June 2023. TOB GROUP is a young and energetic Korean contemporary dance company that creates genre-defying physical works. *TOB stands for ‘Think Outside the Box,’ which represents the company’s vision to step outside the traditional boundaries of contemporary dance.

I have witnessed in my world the fine line between finding myself as the victim and as the perpetrator. Eyes closed and mouths shut, we oftentimes choose the convenient option to be silent rather than coming to the aid of others. This piece questions the nature of empathy and the theory that people are less likely to help someone in need if there are other people present.

노동 현장에서 인간이 본능적으로 자신을 지키고 잃어버리는 과정에서 발현되는 에너지를 시각적으로 표현한다. 불안한 정신과 붕괴된 신체로 살아가는 노동자들이 겪는 부조리한 현실을 담아내고, 노동운동, 노동환경, 그리고 '노동'이라는 것 자체에 대한 질문을 던진다. 일상 속 반복적 행위에서 쌓여가는 삶의 흔적들과 그 속에서 느껴지는 감정들을 움직임에 대입하여 표현하고, 노동 현장에서 마주하는 불편한 진실을 춤으로 계속 언급하고자 한다.

It visually expresses the energy that is expressed in the process of humans instinctively protecting and losing themselves in the the labor scene. It captures the irrational reality experienced by workers living with unstable minds and collapsed bodies, and raises questions about the labor movement, the working environment, and 'labor' itself. I want to express the traces of life accumulated from repetitive actions in everyday life and the emotions felt in them by substituting them into movements, and continue to refer to the uncomfortable truths encountered in the workplace through dance.

Introdution
Originally from Laos, Olé Khamchanla grew up in France and discovered hip-hop dance in 1990. Then he trained with various dancers and choreographers such as Farid Azzout, Gabin Nuissier and Storm for hip-hop dance, Fred Bendongue and master Beja Flore for capoeira, Abou Lagraa and Monica Cazadei for contemporary dance. He was a dancer and co-choreographer with the A'CORPS company from 1997 to 2010, in which he created several shows that set his creative mark. In 2006, he went to Laos and Thailand to learn traditional dances and create his first solo, "Kham...", a return to his roots which offered him the opportunity to deepen and refine his choreographic language. In January 2010, he created the first international dance festival in Laos, FANG MAE KHONG / FMK (Listen to the Mekong), Since then, through the KHAM company created in 2011, Olé Khamchanla has multiplied international cooperation actions in Asia (residencies, training, creations, transmission), and continues to enrich his choreographic vocabulary and the circulation of cultures and works between France and the Asian region.

In Cercle, Olé Khamchanla questions the essence of his dance, from its origins in hip hop to its current hybridity with contemporary dance and the traditional dances of Thailand and Laos. A solo at the crossroads of cultures with which the choreographer dialogues, borrowing from the West and the East, from street movements and those from the classical arts. An intimate space on the inside and a zone of exploration on the outside, the circle is also the evocation of a certain universality that can be find in the dancer’s gestures, and of a perpetual movement that pushes him to seek new mechanisms.
